update update update!
Guys, I haven’t been updating because this potential last year of university (!!!!) has been insanely BUSY. :( Gah I’m currently drowning in my preparations to present my research on Monday, as well as an exam on Wednesday.
After that, I’ve got 3 more exams: Wed the afternoon of the 14th, Friday morning of the 16th, and an evening exam on Saturday the 17th.
Saturday is my Neurology exam, and I’m horrified. I’ll be so burnt out by then I’m not expecting myself to do spectacular. AHH.
…THEN.
I LEAVE THE NEXT MORNING. :D
I’m heading to the brand new shiny pretty airport, boarding a plane for the first time, and zooming across the international dateline to where my mom and dad are from! I’m finally going to go and meet my father’s family, and mourn with them (as of Monday, my dad would have been gone for 8 months… time flies.).
The most important part is I’m finally meeting my ill grandfather. (My dad’s mum passed away when I was only 6 months old.) This is so important to me since my dad moved here, got married… and well, had never gone back home since he got here.. and now he’s gone. I want to share all of the last 22-years worth of stories of my dad with his dad… and in return, i’d like for him to share stories of my dad’s first 22-years with me.
I’ve never been so excited in my life.
Now, if only I could push this to the back of my mind until I finish exams… (lolol impossible.)
Will be doing this just to keep me sane during the exam season (so… basically, all ugly doodles, kids :<)
